TIME  FOR STUDENT-LED-CONFERENCE

Parents were exposed to materials and activities that students engaged in during the school days. Students were well prepared to tell the story of their own success; they seemed to experience a fundamental shift in their internal sense of responsibility for that success. 

         Your child had really worked very hard to prepare for this event. He or she had selected work samples from all subjects, analyzed his or her strengths and weaknesses as a learner, and set possible goals for the remainder of the school year.

USE OF GPS

 AS PART OF ASSESSMENT STUDENTS LEARNT HOW TO USE GPS AND REACH A PARTICULAR PLACE.

Students explained in class how they used GPS and  which directions they moved and mentioned important landmarks and distance they covered to reach a particular place.

Summative assessment

 Students made a booklet on their role model on the basis of research they had done in the unit and presented the research findings in written and pictorial form. Later discussed it with peers, focusing the way they had affected their beliefs and values.

EMPATHY DAY

                        "A true role model is one who conquers his own anger and hatred".

                                 To inculcate the attitude of empathy , on empathy day, students were shown a video on empathy and then they did a small enactment displaying an attitude of empathy. They made necklaces and sold it to the parents. Money collected through this will be given to the people in need. They understood that empathy means helping others.

A Magic of summer camp. Where students know more about themselves and  try new things and face challenges.
