  GRADE 3 gave a PowerPoint presentation on the theme "Where we are in place and time ".

HOW WE ORGANIZE OURSELVES

How we organize ourselves!! Our new unit began with total shock for students when they saw their class disorganized. They at once wanted to know who was responsible for this action.

 

 

TREASURE HUNT ACTIVITY

 Under our Theme"Where we our in place and time" an activity was organized for students in order to put their map skills to use. 

 Students were divided into small groups and each group was given some hints. They made map of the Art room that led them to the hidden box. After the treasure hunt the students were gathered together and each group discussed how they used their map to get to the treasure.

 

LEARNING HOW TO MAKE A 3D MODEL

Our students learnt the process to create a 3D model. They  displayed their route from home to school as part of their theme,Where we are in place and time.

INTRODUCTION OF CARDINAL DIRECTIONS

In our third unit of inquiry " Where we are in place and time" , students were introduced to maps. To reinforce cardinal directions students were taken to the ground and then they were asked to locate features within the classroom.

ROCK SPOT ADVENTURE CAMP

Adventure Camps are always fun..

Sending kids to camp allows children to grow and learn good citizenship, social integration, personal development and social development, exploring his or her capabilities and being in a safe environment where they can grow, gain independence and take risks.

  Our students were in dire need of a collective  adventure camp.

         Children had a pleasant time during Rock spot adventures day camp organized in our school.

  

MAKING OF AN ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT

  Under the unit of  inquiry " How the world works",  Students learnt  the components used to make the electrical circuit and they comprehended the concept by doing an experiment and enjoyed a lot during this activity.
